Some New Things and a Decision or Two

Check out myLot for a great place to post your opinion or ask questions. Check out Kazook for a cool place to get paid to search. At both places you only make pennies a day (unless you're a power poster of some kind!!) but it's kind of fun to use and see what happens.

After giving things a much desired 'good hard look', I've made a few changes in my life. First off - I have to go back to work :( This really breaks my heart but with Christmas coming, not to mention the high cost of living in the midwest during winter time, we are going to need more money around here. So to help out for a bit, I've taken a J.O.B. at a local convenience store. It's not much but every little bit helps.

Another decision I've made is that I want to work harder on my websites (NettiBooks and Working From Home With Success). I feel that if I do a better job of promoting these sites, I can make much more money than I do.

A little bit about myself

I am the wife of my very best friend and the mother of a beautiful daughter and a wonderful teenage boy. I am also the grandma of a beautiful little girl -- Adalynn was born in Jan. 2006!

Prior to becoming a WAHM, I worked in a factory for 10 years, 3rd shift. March 23, 2005 I hit a deer on my way to work and totaled my vehicle. No one was hurt but I had to quit my factory job. The vehicle was paid for but there was just no money for me to get another one. And we hadn't even made a payment on the darn thing!!

Well, after blowing my 401k check, I knew I needed a job and I knew I didn't want to go back to working in a factory. After 10 years, we really were not any better off than we had been when I started. I had done other work at home things in the past -- selling everything from vitamins to vacuum cleaners -- and I knew I didn't want to "sell" anything. I know without a doubt what the answer will be if I were ask my family and friends to "PLEASE have a party for me"! So I looked all over the internet.

I knew there had to be a way to work from home using my computer. I looked at several options and signed up to get paid to look at webpages, fill out surveys and read emails. That week, I made $3.66!! Wonderful, huh? I found out that to many of these sites only pay up to a certain amount (less than $5 per week or month) and most of them want you to spend lots of money "upgrading" so you can earn more.

I'd almost given up when I saw an ad for AmeriPlan -- Daily Pay -- and I figured what the heck, I'd tried everything else, I should at least take a look. I finally found what I was looking for: a way to work from home and help other people too. I have something I have always wanted, a business of my own!
